Terms of Service

These terms govern use of Split It, provided by Octahedron Labs.

Utility only

Split It estimates how a receipt total may be divided. Scanning and calculations can be inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing every item, assignment, tax, tip, total, recipient, and payment request before relying on or sharing it. The app does not hold, transfer, or settle funds.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, bypass scan or purchase limits, submit unlawful content, probe credentials or infrastructure, or use it in a way that violates another person's rights.

Purchases

The optional Pro upgrade is a non-consumable in-app purchase processed by Apple. Apple's payment, refund, and purchase-restoration terms apply. Features may require a network connection and compatible Apple services.

Your content and privacy

You must have permission to process and share any receipt, contact information, or other content you provide. Our handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy.

Availability

The app and receipt-processing service are provided on an “as available” basis. Features may change, and temporary interruptions may occur. To the extent permitted by law, Octahedron Labs disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the app.

Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited in your jurisdiction.
